How it all started...
Pastor Nate and Wendy had a dream of planting a church with a simple goal—to see people’s lives changed and set free through the gift of salvation. With the help of the faithful launch team, this dream become a reality, Compelled Church (formerly called Bedford Christian Community) held it's first service on April 7th 1996.
From the beginning, Compelled Church has focused on loving the people in our community and pointing them to Jesus. The life-giving message of the Gospel, the passion and joy of worship during the Sunday gatherings, and the simple purpose of keeping Christ at the center of all things has created a culture of profound life change in all that are involved.

Expanding the vision...
It was not long before Compelled experienced wonderful growth allowing us to purchase our current land, build a new worship center, develop a great team, add a second location in Holland Ohio and to partner with the missional work of God across the globe.
Where we are headed...
Today, Hundreds of people gather in two locations: Bedford (Temperance, MI) and Holland Ohio to worship together united in a simple purpose; to love God, love people, and serve the world. We invite you to see for yourself how exciting church can be when the focus is simple and people are free. We believe God has some pretty great things in our future and we would love to have you be a part of it all!
